Probate

Probate is the ordinary path. It is also where ordinary estates go wrong: a delayed accounting, a fiduciary who will not answer, assets that never make the inventory.

Administration, not paperwork

The firm probates wills and administers estates for families in Queens and across New York. That includes the petition, the citation of necessary parties, the collection of assets, and the accounting that actually ends the matter.

Clients come for a straightforward probate and stay because someone in the family has stopped cooperating. The office will pursue a fiduciary who will not account. It will also tell a family, early, when a fight is not worth the estate it would consume.

What the consultation is for

The first call is free. Bring the will if you have it, the death certificate if it has issued, and a plain list of what you think the person owned.
